PURPOSE:To improve the economy of a message editing system, by limiting the occupied area and storage capacity of messages for failure information stored in a message storage area. CONSTITUTION:An editing processing section 3 picks up a parameter stored in a parameter storage area 2 and stores it in a message storage area 4. An output processing section 5 picks up a failure information message stored in the area 4 and outputs the message from an output terminal 6. A message storage area managing section 7 compares a value stored in a register 8 with the 1st and 2nd prescribed amount set in registers 9 and 10 in advance at a comparator 11. When the comparator 11 discriminates that the stored value of the register 8 reaches the 1st prescribed amount in a register 9, the section 7 stops the editing processing of a failure informing message. On the other hand, since the section 5 successively executes the output processing in a prescribed output speed, the said occupancy area of the area 4 is gradually reduced and the stored value in the register 8 is decreased. |
