PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of foundation piles by earthquake by a method in which gravel os laid on the upper part of a foundation pile consisting of knotted pile and then a footing is constructed on the gravel layer in a non- connected state to the foundation pile. CONSTITUTION:A knotted pile as a foundation pile 1, having plural knots 4, is driven, and gravel 2 is laid on the upper part of the foundation pile 1 and compacted by dead weight, etc. Then, a slippery water-proof sheet 6 of a synthetic resin, etc., is laid on the gravel layer 2, a form 7 is temporarily set on the sheet 6, iron bars are set in the form 7, and then concrete is placed into the form 7 to construct a footing 3. |
