<p>A pneumatic control unit (5) for a breathing apparatus for administration of breathing gas in for example surgical operations, in which breathing apparatus the breathing gases from a patient are instantaneously stored in an elastic breathing bag (8), the breathing gas being continuously supplemented with an addition of for example oxygen and anaesthetic gas from an administration device. The bag (8) is provided in an rigid container or a pressure chamber (2), the inner space (2a) of which being adjustable in relation to its volume. The control unit (5) is provided to control the insufflation pressure in the pressure chamber (2) intermittently and via an injector (6). In the control unit (5) a first and a second main valve (16, 17) are provided to cooperate via a first and a second volume (19, 20) and via adjustable throttle valves (18c, 18d) affect the inspiration phase and the expiration phase.</p> |
