<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damage of the front brake tube of a car by installing a protector at the upper edge of the arch part of hood ledge panel, by holding the tube with this protector, and by hindering the brake tube from having an interference with the wheel. CONSTITUTION:A protector 15 is installed at the upper edge of the arch part 2 of hood ledge panel 1, projecting toward the center of the wheel W, and the brake tube 5 is drawn to outside the hood ledge panel 1 from the engine room side through under the said upper edge of arch part 2 to be then held by the protector 15. The protector is provided with a notch at its bottom for receive the brake tube 5, and a protective grommet 17 is fitted in this receptacle 16 to hold the tube 5 with this grommet interposed. Thereby, change of the gap between the wheel W and panel 1 is small on the side nearer the wheel center when the wheel W is being steered, so that the tube 5 is free from risk of interference with the wheel W.</p> |
