PURPOSE:To improve the handling capacity of a trimming equipment, by reloading a prescribed number of materials cut off to a prescribed length, which are arranged as a continuous line. CONSTITUTION:The cut-off ends of materials 10 cut off to a predetermined length by a cutter and continuously conveyed at a speed (v) are detected by a cut-off detector 7, then two intake rolls 3 are moved down to accelerate two cut- off materials 10 together at a speed V higher than the former (v). Further, the front end of the cut-off materials is detected by a front end detector 6 to move down the third intake roll 3 to continue the acceleration. After that, the rear end of the gathered cut-off materials 10 is detected by a rear end detector 8 to brake the intake roll 3 to stop the gathered cut-off materials. The intake roll 3 is then moved up to reload the gathered materials 10 onto a transverse conveyance table by a reloader. Every two cut-off materials 10 are thus continuously reloaded. |
