PURPOSE:To break an elastic thin film securely by allowing the elastic thin film and a breaking member to move relatively in some direction differing from the ataching and detaching directions of a supplemented-developer container to and from an opening for the reception of a supplemented developer. CONSTITUTION:A supplementary-developer contaner 1 is in a bolt shape having a circular opening 1a for the passing of a developer and packed with the developer De for supplementation. The opening 1a is blocked with an elastic thin film 2 made of an elastic material such as synthetic resin. After the container 1 is packed with the developer De, the opening 1a is covered with the elastic thin film 2 stuck in a tensed state. This elastic thin film 2, when broken with a thin-film breaking metallic fixture 10, contracts by its own retaining strength and then the broken part of the thin film 2 spreads, thereby exposing the opening 1a. |
