<p>A length of the wall of a pipe (1) is corrugated to form a bellows (2). An anchoring element (3) is fastened to the pipe on one side of the bellows, and a sliding sleeve (4) connected to the anchoring element (3) is arranged on the pipe on the other side of the bellows. The sleeve (4) forms around the pipe, at the respective end of the bellows, an annular space (8) of a cross-sectional area corresponding to the inner cross-sectional area of the pipe and in communication with the inner space of the pipe (1). The pressure in the annular space (8) will be taken up by the anchoring element (3), due to which, the force acting against the bellows in the annular space will counterbalance the same force in the pipe which strives to straighten the bellows. <IMAGE></p> |
