摘要 |
PURPOSE:To detect possible generation of knocking by comparing the amplitude thereof in an angle range of a specified crank before the upper dead point with the amplitude of the output of a knocking sensor in the angle range after the ignition. CONSTITUTION:A knocking sensor 12 mounted on a cylinder block 10 converts a mechanical vibration into an electric signal. Crank angle sensors 16 and 18 are provided on a distributor 14. The sensor 16 is for discrimination of cylinders. Electrical signals from the knocking sensor 12 and the crank angle sensors 16 and 18 are sent into a control circuit 20. The control circuit 20, which memorizes the amplitude of the electrical signals of the knocking sensor 12 within a specified crank angle range before the upper dead point of at least ond cylinder predetermined beforehand, compares the amplitude value of the electrical signals of the knocking sensor 12 within the specified crank angle range after the ignition of the predetermined cylinder to detect possible generation of knocking. |
