PARTICLE COAGULATION DISCRIMINATING VESSEL

PURPOSE:To enable the formation of an image on the bottom of a discrimination vessel without setting up any projection lens separately by forming a lens surface on the undersurface of a particle coagulation discriminating vessel. CONSTITUTION:A lens surface 10 and a edge section 11 for protecting the lens surface 10 are provided on the undersurface of a resin-made particle coagulation discriminating vessel 1. Particles 4 in a reaction liquid 3 housed in the discrimination vessel 1 are accumulated on an inclined surface to form a particle coagulation pattern according to an immunological coagulation reaction. So, a measuring light flux 5 made parallel with an optical system is brought in from above the discrimination vessel 1 and focused efficiently with the lens surface 10 as scattered variously depending on patterns of blood corpuscule settled to form an image on a photo detector 7. The output of the photodetector 7 is amplified with an amplifier 8 and the coagulation patterns are judged from the indication of a output meter 9. This can eliminate a separate projection lens for forming an image on the bottom of the discriminating vessel on the photo detector thereby lowering additional costs necessary for the lens.
