<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the waste for the pause time, by switching automatically the standard of decision for the decision of the state of pause between the travelling start time and the steady travelling time of a tape. CONSTITUTION:A conductor part 1 and an insulated part 1b are provided at the outer circumference of a feed reel shaft 1. When the reel 1 turns, a contact switch 2 having a gap repeats the conduction and nonconduction to deliver the rotation detecting outputs 1 and 0 repetitively. The estimated maximum time is set at t1 during which the shaft 1 keeps the pause state after the start of travelling owing to the loose winding of the tape. The time during which the rotation detecting output keeps the same state at the steady travelling mode is set at t2 with some margin. Thus the value of t1+t2 is set to a pause detecting timer at a central processing part 3 at a time point when the tape starts travelling, and t2 is set each time in case the rotation detecting output has a change. Then the pause is decided in case the time during which the same state is kept exceeds the set time. As a result, the travelling and the pause of a tape can be accurately decided without wasting the time.</p> |
