<p>PURPOSE:To realize a recording/reproducing process for a single track formed slant in the vertical direction to a magnetic tape which is at pause, by shifting the magnetic tape with each minute unit distance every time when a rotary head has a certain minute turn. CONSTITUTION:A rotary head 8 is rotated by a rotor motor 10, and a rotation detector 21 detects the rotation of the motor 10 and feeds the rotation detecting signal to a dividing signal generating circuit 22. the circuit 22 divides equally the angle of rotation of the motor 10 corresponding to the track length on a magnetic tape into a certain number and feeds the dividing signal to a driving control circuit 23 receiving an indication for the process of a single track process at each dividing time point. The circuit 23 feeds a driving indication signal to a driving circuit 24, and the circuit 24 produces a driving pulse to rotate a capstan by one step. The head has the tracking on the staircase on the track in accordance with the minute turn of the rotary head 8. In such way, a recording/reproducing process is possible on a single track to a magnetic tape which is at pause.</p> |
