<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the bottom surface of the storage tank from being damaged at the start of filling of liquid into the tank by a method wherein a liquid receiving pipe bent in L-shape, the upper opening of which is located just under the filling port of a liquid filling pipe, is provided. CONSTITUTION:One end of the liquid filling pipe 2, the other end of which is connected to liquid source, is open within the storage tank main body 1 by penetrating through its roof 1a. A hanging member support 5 is tightly fixed onto the outer periphery of the liquid filling pipe 2 near its open end. The upper end of each of a plurality of hanging bolts 4 comprising a hanging member is fitted and supported with a bolt and nut 6 to the support 5. Furthermore, the liquid receiving pipe 3 is fitted and supported through reinforcing and retaining seats 7 of the hanging bolts with nuts 8 to the lower end of the respective hanging bolts 4. The upper end of the liquid receiving pipe 3 is formed in a funnel tube shape 3a and, while its lower end is bent sideway and obliquely upward so as to form an opening 3b.</p> |
