PURPOSE:To use a battery for a portable electric equipment of video tape recorder or the like and an electric automobile, by performing catalytic immersion of conductive resin further coating lead or lead alloy on its surface and widely decreasing weight of an electrode for the battery. CONSTITUTION:When electroplating is performed to conductive resin, the resin is immersed to a catalyst used for chemical plating for an initially precipitated metal uncleus capable of early appearing on a sirface of the resin. If a nucleus of Pd, with smaller hydrogen overvoltage than that of electroprecipitated metal (Ni, Pd), is precipitated on the surface of the resin, the nucleus promotes reaction as a catalytic poison. And then if lead plating is applied, a closely coated lead film can be precipitated in at least 10min. |
