PURPOSE:To prepare a jet head for high speed printing of simple construction and high resolution by a method wherein a base plate having recessed parts for nozzles on its both sides is sandwiched by two side plates, each having recessed parts for jet chambers which interconnect with every other recessed parts of the base plate respectively. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 1 having recessed parts 1a for nozzles of the same arrangement on its both sides is sandwiched by two side plates 2, 3 having recessed parts 2a, 3a which interconnect with every other recessed part 1a for nozzle, and they are adhered to each other by a method such as thermal bonding, etc. and 2 pieces of jet chamber 4 and a nozzle 5 are formed on one side of the base plate 1 and a jet chamber 6 and a nozzle 7 are formed on the other side. Ink is filled inside the jet chambers 4, 6 and nozzles 5, 7, and flexible walls 2b, 3b are caused to bend inwardly by giving electric pulses to piezoelectric crystals 8, 9 and recording is made by causing ink to jet out from the nozzles 5, 7. |
