PURPOSE:To obtain a jet head of lower cost of which roduction process has been simplified by eliminating the necessity for masking and bump removal grinding by a method wherein a jet head is composed by laying No.1 plate having a recessed part for forming a jet chamber over another No.2 plate having a recessed part for forming nozzle. CONSTITUTION:No.1 plate 11 having a recessed part 11a for forming a jet chamber is laid over No.2 plate 12 having a recessed part 12a for forming a nozzle and a jet chamber 13 is formed between plates 11 and 12 by binding them together by a method such as thermal bonding, etc. Ink is upplied to this jet chamber through an ink introducing hole 12b and a piezo-electric crystal 14 adhered to a flexible wall 11b of No.1 plate 11 generates electric pulses in response to record information and the flexible wall 11b is caused to bend inwardly and by this the capacity of the jet chamber 13 abruptly decreases and part of ink inside the jet chamber 13 is moved to the side of a nozzle 15 and recording is made by causing ink at the part of nozzle 15 to jet out at a high speed. |
