PURPOSE:To facilitate the cleaning of a filter sections by a method wherein a pair of the filter sections are fitted to the valve main body and the flow in one of the filter sections is shut-off during operation by closing the influx-efflux regulating valve of said filter sections. CONSTITUTION:Normally both the influx-efflux regulating valves 11 and 12 are open and fluid flows from an influx port (not shown) into the filter compartments 28 and 29 and passes through strainers 30 and 31 into influx passages 24 and 25 and then discharged through branch ports 22 and 23 from an exhaust port 15. When the cleaning of the strainers 30 and 31 is intended, one handle 43 is turned in order to close the valve 12 as illustrated in the attached drawing under the condition that an engine is running at a light load such as at idling or the like and a filter section cover 27 is removed and the strainer 31 is dismantled for cleaning. During that time, fluid flows in the other filter section 3, resulting in causing no obstacles in running. The cleaning of the other filter 30 is similarly performed under the condition that the valve 11 is closed by turning the other handle 42 while the valve 10 is open. After that, both valves 10 and 11 are open in order to shift to normal operation. |
