<p>PURPOSE:To allow the title aeration tank and its related equipment to function most effectively, by intermittently supplying sewage to the aeration tank from a flow control tank mainly in synchronization with the aerating time of the aeration tank. CONSTITUTION:Sewage to be treated is introduced into the flow control tank 1, supplied to the aeration tank 7 by a transfer pump 5 arranged in the tank 1, and aerated. Aeration is carried out at every lapse of a preset specific time, and the transfer pump 5 is controlled and driven during the aerating time in synchronization with the aeration to supply the sewage to be treated to the tank 7. Consequently, the operating time of a blower 10, the transfer pump 5, etc., is minimized, each supply of the sewage to be treated to the aeration tank is reduced and uniformly distributed, hence the deterioration in the purifying function of the whole equipment can be effectively prevented even when the actual amt. of sewage is extremely small as compared with the design amt. of sewage, and energy can be saved.</p> |
