In a compressed-air motor having a reciprocating piston, a piston rod and a piston slide valve arranged parallel thereto, which is suitable, e.g., for driving plunger pumps for paint spraying, the slide of the piston slide valve is reversed at the end of each stroke of the reciprocating piston by the piston rod by means of a snap device. The snap device comprises an actuating member which moves in reciprocation between two stops arranged with a longitudinal interval on the slide. In order to accelerate the changeover process and to simplify and reduce the force required by the snap device, the latter merely consists of a snap lever, the free end of which is connected to the piston rod through a traction spring. The free end of the snap lever simultaneously constitutes the actuating member and drives the slide by striking abruptly against the stops which are preferably individually adjustable. The snap lever may be constructed as a crank mounted on two sides, the median section of which is the actuating member.
|
