INK FOR INK-JET RECORDING

PURPOSE:To improve ejection stability and recording characteristics of an ink composed mainly of a recording agent and a liquid medium, by adding an unsaturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid diester to the above ink. CONSTITUTION:An ink-jet recording ink composed mainly of a recording agent and a liquid medium is incorporated with an unsaturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid diester [preferably the compound of formulas I-III (R is 1-8C alkyl; R1-R3 are H or 1-3C alkyl). The compound may be used singly as a liquid medium of the recording agent or used as a mixture with a non-aqueous solvent. In the latter case, the content of the compound is preferably 30-99wt.% of the recording liquid.
