PURPOSE:To electrically rotate the direction of beam, by switching and synthesizing antennas with almost nondirectivity within a horizontal plane and one or a plurality of antennas having the directivity of butterfly-shaped phase characteristics opposite for front and back. CONSTITUTION:Horizontal dipole antennas 81 and 82 are orthogonally arranged and the phase is switched to inphase and opposite phase with phase switching devices 84 and 85, and since the selection, switching or synthesis of outputs from the horizontal dipole antennas 81 and 82 is performed at a switching synthesizer 86, eight types of outputs can be obtained. The output level is adjusted at a voltage adjuster 87 and after the output is synthesized 88 with an output from a horizontal circular loop antenna 83, antenna outputs of eight directions having cardioide type directivity can be obtained. |
