PURPOSE:To reduce the number of communication and man-power for design with increased reliability, by controlling each digital switch module with a corresponding call processor in a decentralized control type exchanger, as if the exchanger system were constituted with channel networks of independent exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Digital switch modules (DSM)i and (DSM)j are controlled with call processors (CPR)i and (CPR)j and they are controlled with a main processor MPR. Each CPR is constituted to form a connection order with virtual modules (DSMI)i and (DSMI)j with the same constitution as the DSMi and DSMj to be governed, and a call processor of a caller, e.g., the CPRi transmits the start request of a TIj corresponding to a virtual terminal circuit (TI)j accommodated in the DSMI to the CPRj, each CPR edits the connection order to be connected to the TI via the DSM and DSMI, blocks the transmission to the DSMI at the execution of the connection processing and transmits the connection order to the DSM, and sets a channel. |
