PURPOSE:To improve radiation efficiency of the burner plate of compound ceramics of a particular constitution by an arrangement wherein the surface is formed in a convex-concavo pattern made by cones the three vertical angles of which contact on the bottom, and three flame holes are pierced at an equal interval on the bottom side thereof. CONSTITUTION:The burner plate 3 of a burner which uses such as propane as fuel has the surface shaped in the convex-concavo pattern made by cones each having a side length of about 6mm. to 8mm. and a height of about 3mm., which are arranged in continuation with the three vertical angles in contact on the bottom of the triangular pyramid. Further, three flame holes 2, each having a diameter of about 1.2 to 1.7mm., are pierced at an equal interval on each bottom side of the cone. The burner plte 3 is made of compound ceramics by molding techniques of a refractory clay mainly comprising a mixture of lithium-containing vaterite of coarse particles, grain patterned clay of fine particles and inorganic fibers of such as silica-almina system which are cut and crushed into 0.1-5mm. length. |
