PURPOSE:To improve the frequency stability and to arbitrarily select the frequency of an oscillator, by arranging a plurality of quartz osciallators which control local oscillating circuits for a down-converter and an up-converter respectively at the same temperature. CONSTITUTION:A quartz oscillator 8 includes sub-quartz oscillators f1 and f2 respectively for reception and transmission, and the oscillators f1 and f2 are located under the same environment. Reception and transmission local oscillators 3 and 4 receive required local oscillating frequencies fL1 and fL2 from the oscillators f1 and f2 respectively and provide them to reception and transmission frequency converters 5 and 6 respectively. Through the constitution like this, the frequency stability almost the same degree as the system of a common master oscillator control can be attained. Further, no frequency limit as the use of the master oscillation is imposed, allowing to set arbitrary frequencies. |
