PURPOSE:To obtain inexpensive fluidized media which have high hardness and high fire resistance and rarely pulverized at hot by subjecting conglomerate and sandstone generated at specific districts to washing, frictional crushing and grinding then removing slime by classifying, dehydrating and drying these and sieving the particles several times thereby sizing the grains. CONSTITUTION:The conglomerate and sandstone produced inexhaustibly in Haracho, Soma district, Iwaki district, and south Futaba area of Fukushima Prefecture are collected and are refined by washing. These are charged into a rotating body, and are dislodged of circumferential brittle layers by self-frictional crushing, after which they are charged into a rotating body contg., for example, iron bars or the like to undergo the priority grinding state of removing internal brittle parts such as cracked parts. After the hardness and fire resistance are intensified in this way, slime is removed therefrom by classifying stage and are dehydrated and dried. The dried particles are sieved several times, whereby the fluidized media for combustion devices having >=7 Morse hardness and consisting of 830mu average particle size are obtained. |
