PURPOSE:To improve the data transferring speed, by successively selecting each recorded group divided into N+1 groups by collecting N pieces in one group, in such a way that each record group is selected by one group at every turn of the disk, and accessing records which belong to the selected groups in accordance with the arranged order, and transferring the data. CONSTITUTION:Twenty-six pieces sectors S1-S26 are alternately divided into an odd-numbered sector group S1, S3-S25 and an even-numbered sector group S2, S4-S26 on each track of a floppy disk. This address form is successively selected one set by one set at every turn of the disk in accordance with the program of a CPU, and data reading/writing is performed in such a way that the odd- numbered sector group is accessed at the 1st turn of the disk and the even- numbered sector group is accessed at the 2nd turn. In this way, the data transfer is performed in time-division against a sector group on one track assigned across two turns of the disk. |
