摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To form a crosshead through which the adjustment of thickness deviation can be readily done, by installing coaxially with a nipple an adjusting ring in a resin passage at an intermediate part between an extrusion die and a resin extruding section. CONSTITUTION:Molten resin is fed from an extruder 1 via an extruding part 51 to the crosshead provided to an extrusion die 4 at the end of resin passage 5 defined between the crosshead body 2 and a nipple 3, and is caused to adhere around a conductive element omega fed in a direction shown by the arrow through the nipple 3 to form a covered line 10. In the intermediate part between the extrusion die 4 and the resin extruding part 51, the adjusting ring 7 that can be moved by four adjusting bolts 8 is positioned for said crosshead at right angles crossing the resin passage 5. Therefore the resin introduced in the passage 5 is squeezed at the ring 7, and the pressure difference in the circumferential direction becomes substantially uniform, while by adjusting the ring 7 radially such that the values indicated on pressure guages 9A, 9B (shown), 9C, 9D (not shown) are all to be the same, the thickness deviation of the covered wire 10 is further eliminated.</p>
