PURPOSE:To limit the change in the temperature of steam at the inlet port of a steam turbine within prescribed values, by providing a damper in the exhaust passage of a gas turbine to control the flow rate of exhaust gas to regulate the quantity of the exhaust gas to be supplied to a waste heat recovery boiler. CONSTITUTION:The waste heat of a gas turbine is utilized to drive a steam turbine. The temperature of steam generated by a waste heat recovery boiler 3-i is detected by a steam temperature converter 71-i. The output of a temperature change rate detector 72-i is compared with a set value by a comparator 74-i. When the temperature change rate has exceeded the set value, a by-pass damper 4-i or a shutoff damper 5-i is regulated by a damper controller 75-i to alter the quantity of exhaust gas to be supplied to the waste heat recovery boiler 3-i. As a result, the fluctuation in the inlet temperature of the steam turbine is suppressed to lengthen its lifetime. |
