PURPOSE:To obtain the toner having uniform and stable positive chargeability by adding a specific amino group-contg. copolymer resin and imidazole compd. into a polyester resin of a low acid value. CONSTITUTION:The specific copolymer resin (B) contg. the unit derived from an aminoacryl monomer and the imidazole compd. (C) are added into the polyester resin (A). The components expressed by the following constitutional formula are generally preferable as the constituting components of the copolymer resin (B). The desired positive chargeability is more advantageously imparted to the toner as the copolymn. ratio of the aminoacryl monomer is higher. The magnitude of the positive chargeability as the toner can be freely adjusted by using the amino group-contg. copolymer resin. The sharp rising of the electrostatic charge and the stability at the time of repetitive use are attained by the combination use of the imidazole compd. |
