PURPOSE:To perform automatic music selection by leading the output signal of a cartridge to an amplitude comparing and discriminating circuit through an amplifier, and comparing and discriminating between in-music amplitude and intermusic amplitude of the output signal of the cartridge. CONSTITUTION:The in-music output signal that a cartridge 1 generates is passed through an amplifying circuit 2, a low-cutting filter 3, and a Schmitt circuit 4 successively. The Schimitt circuit 4 outputs continuous pulses during music play, but the pulses decrease below a threshold value at an intermusic part, so that the substantial output is reduced to 0. Thus, intermusic parts are detected accurately. |
