PURPOSE:To save time and labor in operation changing and to automatize an operation of material handling, by providing a pair of rollers additionally to receiving rollers and making the roolers movable in the lateral and vertical directions and turning them. CONSTITUTION:A material 10 is fed to rolling rolls 3 and 4, and is sent out onto receiving rollers 17 of a lifting table 22 by rollers 12 and 13. At this time, the material is detected by a detector 40, and the roller 12 is pushed down and when the passing of the tail end of the material 10 through rolls 3 and 4, the roller 13 is stopped to keep the material 10 in a clamped state between the rollers 13 and 12. Nexte the lifting table 22 is raised by an actuator 24 to position the tail end of the material 10 to the rolls 2 and 3. Further a turning frame 15 is turned to rotate the material 10 by a prescribed angle while keeping the material in the clamped state between the rollers 12 and 13. Then the roller 13 is driven in the reversed direction the material 10 is inserted into working holes of the rolls 2 and 3 to perform the 2nd rolling work. |
