PURPOSE:To eliminate a hooking operation and to facilitate the transfer of a busy call, by receiving and discriminating both the special number and the subscriber number which are dialed by a calling subscriber to discriminate the idle or busy state of the subscriber and switching the connection set to the subscriber to the calling subscriber in the case of the busy mode. CONSTITUTION:A subscriber B wants to transfer a call to a subscriber A to another subscriber C while the subscriber A is talking with the subscriber B via an intra-office trunk IOT. In such case, the subscriber C has a call and dials the special number for call transfer in the busy mode and the number of the subscriber B after receiving a dial tone from an oscillating register trunk ORT which is connected via a route P3. A central controller CC identifies the special number that is received via the trunk ORT and discriminates whether the busy information (b) or the idle information (i) is stored in a region corresponding to the subscriber B within the subscriber data D1. If the information (i) is stored, the call given from the subscriber C is regarded ineffective. Then a busy tone process is carried out. When the information (b) is stored, the controller CC opens a route P2 and sets the route P3. Thus the connection with the subscriber A is changed to the subscriber C from B. |
