摘要 <p>This apparatus is used to verify and adjust the steering geometry of the wheels on a vehicle, and is designed such that the wheels can be swung by 20 deg. when the vehicle is on a car lift, without the apparatus being inconvenienced by parts of the car lift. The appts. contains two devices fixed onto two opposite wheels. Each device includes a hollow rod. This rod contains a light source and is terminated by a mirror which sends the light onto a screen on the other device. The mirror is articulated or removable such that it either reflects the light or allows it to pass through a hole. The part which checks the pivot, caster and camber angles is mounted normally w.r.t. the rod's axis.</p>
