Computer controlled automatic feed for animals - in which food falls from hopper through stopper system into weighing vessel and subsequently into manger

The food placed in a hopper is extracted by a screw. The falling food is stopped by a cap which can be closed very quickly. This motor driven cap is controlled by the computer. When the cap is at its higher position, the food falls along an inclined plate into a small rotary container. The food in the container is weighed using a strain gauge system. When the desired quantity of food is in the container the computer closes the cap. The container is rotated and the food falls into a trough then into the manger. The uneaten food is recuperated and weighed to allow the computer to manage the feeding.
