PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction of motor capacity by performing the opening and closing of a chute and the oscillation of a lower roller by making use of the excess power of the oil pressure of the hydraulic motors which turn opposedly provided two dehydrating rollers. CONSTITUTION:The primary dehydration of the material to be dehydrated by the pressing onto the upper roller 1 on a chute 6, the secondary dehydration by a pair of upper and lower rollers 1, 2 and the opening of the roller 2 discharging foreign material when it is held therebetween are driven by the same hydraulic circuit 15. Arrangement is so made that the opening and closing of the chute 6 and the opening and closing of the roller 2 are accomplished by making use of the excess pressure of the roller 1, 2 driving. Hence, the driving may be accomplished by the motor M3 for driving one hydraulic pump P and by only the horse power of the rollers 1, 2 driving, and the motor capacity may be reduced. Even if load is increased by the excess charging of the screen cake into the chute 6 and the entry of foreign material or the like, the smooth dehydration of the screen cake may be accomplished because the above-mentioned operations is accomplished in the safe circuit.
