<p>The stand uses an inclined platform (2) to support a portable grinder (13), with a cradle-shaped plate (8) and a cross-bar (4) which are positioned above the platform. The platform provides a seat for the lateral external face of the grinder housing (15), the cradle locates the frontal face of the housing, and the bar supports the grinder body (13). The cradle is sited at the lower end of the platform whilst the bar is at a higher level than the cradle, and both the cradle and bar may be fixed in position with the bar sited on the bottom edge of the cradle. The platform may comprise a tray with a stepped floor (2a,2b), the cradle being adjustable for position on the top step (2a) by bolts (10) through slot-holes (11). The bar is adjustable for height by similar fixings (5,6).</p> |
