<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording head which has high thermal efficiency, less power consumption and high printing speed by forming an insulating film between a pair of electrode conductors so that the upper surface becomes higher than the upper surface of conductors and forming a resistor on the film. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of electrode conductors are formed by a thick film method or a thin film method on an insulating base plate 1. Then, aluminum is covered between a pair of adjacent electrode conductors 2 to form a conductive layer, which is subjected to an anodic oxidation to form an insulating film 4. The upper surface of the upper surface of the film 4 is formed higher than the upper surface of the conductors 2. A resistor 30 is then formed by a thick or thin film method on part of the conductors 2. Since the thermal recording head thus obtained allows thermal sensitive recording sheet to preferably contact the center 30a of the resistor 30, the heat is efficiently transmitted to the recording sheet, thereby reducing the applied electric power.</p> |
