In order to press frames of laminated construction in the shape of an arch, a device is proposed, to the supporting framework of which horizontal supporting arms are fastened. The supporting arms are constructed parallel and mutually opposite in a first portion, and semicircular or arcuate, extending radially outwards from the centre of the circle or arc, in a second portion. Clamping units which receive the laminated bundles are fastened to the supporting arms. Each clamping unit possesses a working cylinder and a pressing frame, between which the laminated bundle is received.
