PURPOSE:To assemble a thermal print head positively in a short time without positional deviation and damage of parts by such an arrangement wherein a substrate on which a circuit of heat generating elements is formed is combined with a flexible print board on a stage equipped with a vacuum suction device. CONSTITUTION:A stage 1 has plural suction holes 2 for base, plural suction holes 10 for substrate and plural suction holes 11 for flexible print board and all suction holes are connected to a vacuum pump 5 through valves 4, 6, 7. In assembling a thermal printer head unit, a base plate 12 is placed at a specified position on the stage 1 and it is fixed by being vacuum-sucked through holes 2, and next a head substrate 14 is placed at a specified position on the base plate 12 and it is fixed by being vacuum sucked by holes 10 through a central opening 13 of the base plate 12. Next, a flexible print board 15 is placed as it is adjusted to the connecting terminal of the substrate 14 and it is fixed by being sucked by holes 11 and under this condition, they are combined and assembled together with screws, etc. |
