Circular saw blade

The circular saw blade has cutting edges which project from the blade surfaces, lie on tongues and are formed from brazed-on carbide strips. The side surfaces of the kerf are smoothed by these cutting edges. In order to obtain favourable re-grinding and a slight lateral projection of the cutting edge, the dimensions of the carbide strips are not to exceed certain values, although the clearance angle is to be greater than 3 DEG and the thickness of the tongues in the area of the carbide strips is to be equal to the thickness of the normal circular saw blade.
