1. A fuel-injection pump for internal combustion engines with a flanged plunger bushing inserted into a bore of the pump housing, said bushing containing a first and a second control bore for each pump element - of which the second is located opposite the first along the same axis - and guiding the plunger and its two upper and one lower control edges, the first control bore corresponding to the first upper control edge and passing through said plunger bushing in a straight line, and the second control bore corresponding to the second upper control edge and to the lower control edge of said plunger, wherein the second control bore ends in a cross-hole preferably positioned at right angles relative to the axis of said plunger and to that of said control bores, and wherein only the second control bore is opened by the lower control edge at the end of the feed stroke. |
