PURPOSE:To obtain an anchor rod having a high drawing resistance by a method in which two kinds of ?-shaped notches whose basal portion is turned toward different directions are provided on the peripheral wall of the outer tube of an anchor rod consisting of an outer and an inner tube, and an expansible material is injected into the aperture between both the outer and inner tubes. CONSTITUTION:An anchor rod A is driven into a banking 12 from a hole 11 drilled in a retaining wall 10. Then, an expansible material 13 is injected into the aperture between an outer tube 2 and an inner tube from the rear end opening 1b of the anchor rod A until it reaches the place where notches 5 and 6 are provided, whereupon the expansible material 13 expands and hardens, and ?- shaped tongue pieces 7 and 8 are erected by the expanding pressure, thereby giving a drawing resistance to the tongue piece 7 and also a supporting force to the tongue piece 8. After the expansion of the expansible material 13, a blocking metal is attached to the rear end opening 1b of the anchor rod A and a tension is given to the anchor rod A by a clamping means, e.g., nuts, etc. By this, the tongue pieces 7 are further erected, the tongue pieces 8 are slightly retreated, and thereby the drawing resistance is further increased. |
