Electric soldering iron

Electric soldering iron with a longitudinal slot (5) in a heat-conducting element (3c) which is formed in one piece with a part (3) of the soldering iron. A flat, plate-like heating element (2c) is fitted into the slot and held therein. This construction simplifies the manufacturing process for the soldering iron, increases the thermal efficiency and reduces the size of the soldering iron. <IMAGE>
