The differential amplifier consists of a differential amplifier section and a differential/single-ended converter. The differential amplifier section has the following components: a first NMOSFET (3) with a gate which is connected to a first input terminal (8), a drain (D) as first output of the differential amplifier section and a source (S), a second NMOSFET (4), the gate of which is connected to a second input terminal (9), the drain (D) of which is connected to a second output terminal of the differential amplifier section and the source of which is connected to the source of the first NMOSFET (3), and a first and second load (1 and 2) which are connected to the drain electrode (D) of the first and respectively second NMOSFET (3 and 4). The differential/single-ended converter has a third NMOSFET (5), at the drain and gate electrodes of which the first output signal of the differential amplifier section is present and the source of which is earthed, and a fourth NMOSFET (6), at the drain of which the second output signal of the differential amplifier section is present, the gate of which is connected to the gate of the third NMOSFET (5) and the source of which is earthed. The two output signals of the differential amplifier section are converted into a single output signal at the output terminal (10). <IMAGE>
