Device for producing thermoformed mouldings from plastic sheet

The aim is to construct a device for producing thermoformed mouldings from plastic sheet such that no distortion of the plastic sheet can occur in carrying out the individual conveying steps thereof, which distortions might impair a printed image which may be located thereon. The device for producing thermoformed mouldings consists of a moulding station with an integrated or downstream punching device and of a sheet heating device which is arranged upstream of the moulding station and heats the film regions to be formed and of a film cooling device which keeps the film waste regions cold. At least the film cooling device is arranged so as to be raisable and lowerable with respect to the conveying plane of the plastic sheet and can therefore be removed during the transport steps of the plastic sheet sufficiently far therefrom to avoid frictional stressing of said plastic sheet. The sheet cooling device can be raised and lowered synchronously with the lower mould of the moulding station and a cooling frame can be additionally allocated to it, which cooling frame surrounds the heating zones of the sheet heating device and in its contours corresponds to the contours of the cooling webs on the sheet cooling device.
