PURPOSE:To make a driver clearly recognize that the position of a winker switch is in a lane change position, by increasing suitably and radically the operation load thereby making him exercise moderation before a right or left change-over position. CONSTITUTION:When a slider 23 is in the neutral position, an engaging head 58 is engaged resiliently with a neutral recess 42 in a moderation groove 41. When the knob 21 is moved, an edge 46 situated in the direction opposite to the direction of the movement of the knob 21 will abut on the engaging head 58, and therefore the resistance increases so that the operation load is radically increased to a prescribed value. When the edge 46 goes beyond the engaging head 58, the operation load will be decreased, and when the knob 21 is moved further to the right, the engaging head 58 will abut on a wall 47, and the resistance will increase radically and substantially. If in this position the operation load is released, the slider 23 will be returned to the neutral position, but if a further operation load is added, the engaging head 58 will go beyond the wall 47, and will be engaged with a support recess 43 or 44. |
