PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE RESIN HAVING BIO-DEGRADATION AND ITS MIXTURE

The bio-degradable and high absorptive resin compsn. is composed of a carboxylated sodium alginate deriv. (I) and a synthetic polymer electrolyte (II) [composing wt. ratio of (I) to (II) is 30:70 - 99:1 . The electrolyte (II) is pref. acidic electrolyte i.e. polyacrylic acid, sodium polyacrylate, polystyrene sulfonic acid or polymethyl methacrylic acid, or basic electrolyte i.e. polyethylene imine, polyaminoethyl methacrylate or polyacryl amide. The resin is produced by spinning the resin compsn. to obtain a fiber, needle-punching the fiber to obtain a non-wooven fabric, and dipping the fabric into NaOH soln.
