PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent the tyre from being fastened so as to rotate in incorrect direction and consequently to realize traffic safety by a method wherein indications indicating for correct rotational direction are provided on the side parts or the like of the tyre having spike pins protruded out of the surface of the tread of the tyre. CONSTITUTION:The tail end 4 sides of plurality of the spike pins b are embedded near the carcass 3 side in the rubber layer 2 of the tread part 1 of the tyre a and the head end 5 side of each spike pin b is exposed on the outer periphery of the surface of the tread 1. In addition, a rotational direction indicator 7 is provided on a part of the surface at the side part 6 of the tyre equipped with the spike pins as described above in such a configuration that the tip 8 of the indicator 7 shows the direction of the tip of the arrow B and its rear end shows the direction of the rear end of the arrow B. Owing to the method of indication as mentioned above, the fastening of the tyre in erroneous direction and consequent generation of accident can be prevented. |
