Device for feeding fuel, preferably diesel fuel, to an engine, especially diesel engines, with a feed line and with a filter and, where necessary, with a feed pump, at least one heating element being provided in the feed path of the fuel in the surface of the filter, the heating element only extending over a part, for example 5-50% of the surface of the filter element for partial melting of any paraffin precipitates of the fuel.
