<p>PURPOSE:To operate a clutch with less required electromagnetic force of an electromagnet, by axially slidably fitting a friction plate ro a driven shaft, urging a helical spline and the friction plate to the separating direction through a resiliently urging means and providing said urging means between a shaft part of said friction plate and the driven shaft. CONSTITUTION:A helical spline 21a is formed to the end part of a driven shaft 5, while a cylindrical shaft part 22 is provided to the central part of a friction plate 11, and a corresponding helical spline 21b is also formed to the inside of said shaft part 22. Then a coil spring 24 is interposed between an end part of the shaft part 22 and a stepped part 5a of the driven shaft 5, when a clutch is disengaged, reaction force is generated for urging the friction plate 11 to the separating direction from a friction surface 1a. As a result, at engagement of the clutch, engagement directional thrust is generated to the friction plate by action of the helical spline, and this causes less requirement of electromagnetic force by an electromagnet itself, resulting in the reduction of electric power consumption.</p> |
