PURPOSE:To obtain a processing system of simple structure and high efficiency by reading an original for which domain is designated by a specified color, and storing picture data in a memory device basing on color data of the specifed color. CONSTITUTION:Reflected light coming from an original MAT for which domain is designated by a specified color enters red and blue photoelectric conversion elements PHR, PHB through a reflecting mirror, an image forming lens and a beam splitter. Photoelectrically converted signals are binary coded (CDB, CDR) and added to a color discriminating circuit DMC, and generate data of three colors, blue, red and black. Blue data DBU used for domain designation is detected by an edge detector EDE as edge information and supplied to a domain detector DEA to obtain domain data DM. Black data and red data obtained by a color discriminator basing on the domain data are supplied to a memory MEM, and all the data of the domain designated by blue are stored in the memory MEM. |
